Askwith Village Hall is a community centre located in the village of Askwith, in the County of North Yorkshire. The hall was built in the 1960’s as a community asset for the local residents, the village school, farmers and the wider the area. In resent years the hall has been rented out to groups to contribute to its up keep. With funds raised at numerous community events, the Village Hall comity decided to invest in the halls poorly insulated roof and tired internal ceiling to bring it up to current living standards and make it more appealing to future clients and local residents.

Seeds design worked with the Village Hall comity to develop a scheme that allowed us to insulate the roof and transform the internal feel of the hall. 200mm of insulation was added in-between the rafters and the ceiling was finished with fire rated plywood.

A disco ball, new lights and a projector were added so the hall could be rented out for parties, weddings and corporate events.
