The clients approached us to produce a design for their Grade II Listed building on the outskirts of Shelly village, 8 miles to the south of west Huddersfield.

The project was to obtain full planning permission and listed building consent for the conversion of this listed building. We were employed to take the design through to completion.

The building, an old wool spinners cottage sits in a complex of farm buildings that are all in the process of renovation to form a new small hamlet/complex. The re-development of this complex has been carefully considered allowing the whole development to work and be read as a whole.
