Farrands bar is an independent bar located in the heart of Leeds City Centre offering a great selection of fine wines, beers and signature cocktails. During Lockdown, as with other businesses in the hospitality industry, the business temporarily closed and a level of uncertainty remained.

However. The clients owned a car park in the city centre, which was also seeing a decline in business due to the current climate, which led to a conversation proposing putting the bar on top of the car park on a temporary basis. The relocation of the bar would allow the business to continue to operate within the new health and safety legislation and provide a new elevated bar in the city.

The bar had been designed to accommodate 100 out door covers under an illuminated timber structure. A prefabricated timber structure will house the bar and operation facilities. The timber structure will be painted in pinstripes to match the Farrands house and graphic style.
