Port Bannatyne is a family owned and run marina located on the North East of the island. The marina is the sailing gateway to the Kyles of Bute, The Firth of Clyde, The Hebrides and The Irish Sea. To grow the business further, the family want to build a new purpose built building that can offer more amenities to their existing customers whilst at the same time attract new business.

The new marina building will be constructed from a series of metal boxes to reflect the industrial machinery on site, needed for the day to day operation of the marina. The new building will become a new machine powered from an array of solar panels and an air source heat pump.

The new marina building will provide, a new office for the staff, a new canteen and kitchen for the staff, a new communal area for their clients, a new laundry and ice room, a new male and female shower block and new outside area for their staff and clients. The new marina building will provide disabled access to current and future clients.
